News : Rivers State is Rated among the Dirtiest city in the world @official_Mrking
Things you don’t know about Rivers State, Mr. King is the reason why this state is rated amongst the dirtiest city in the world. Politics has almost killed our city which is supposed to be the best, cleanest and wealthiest in Nigeria.
I could remember vividly well few years ago Mr. King launched a project to KEEP RIVERS STATE CLEAN a project that could have revived Rivers state and restored it true nature of being clean and green, the project attracted foreign NGO’s who wanted to support.
The project failed and placed our city among dirtiest in world; the foreign NGO’s flee and left Nigeria to execute the project elsewhere simply because of the kind of Government and politics we practice which is almost killing our state and derailing our reputation.
ATTENTION PLEASE: [UP NEXT] Read up the next post about Mr King to know what really happened to the project, importance and why the investors left Nigeria.
You practically wouldn’t believe that garden city could be this dirty after seeing pictures and videos from Mr. King Project below:

Nigerian photographer Emmanuel Asukwo Okwong confesses why he never holds a camera@welEminent
Some weeks ago a friend called me from church asking if I take passport photographs and of course my answer was “Yes”. He immediately said “ok, so how much is it for 8 copies?” I told him 5000naira. He was so surprised and he said the same thing you’re probably thinking right now: “Is it not passport, I can get 12 for N200 sef.” Of course it is just passport photographs and you can even get 20 for 200 or for free but the question is I’m I just an “ordinary” Photographer.
Sometimes in June, I did a free family portrait session for a potential client and (luckily for me) they loved it! Some days back, I got a call from them asking me to come take pictures for their anniversary and of cause they knew it won’t be free, so I charged them. They were so surprised and they were like “just for pictures? It’s quite expensive we already marketed you to people and if it’s this expensive they won’t call you.” Of course at that point I knew they were not my client!
One reason I hate shooting for free is that the clients might actually not know the worth of what they are getting for free. And it’s sad. You see, not everybody believed the gospel even when heard from Christ himself. They still didn’t drop their nets to follow him. In the same light, we should realize that not everybody is our client.
I hate it when I hear the question “is it not to take pictures?” But I’m glad to answer you here. Of course it’s just to take pictures but I’m not just a photographer. I’m a professional photographer. Not just because I use a professional camera, or because I trained at one of the best photography schools in Nigeria. It’s mainly because I’m different.
I think most photographers believe a camera is a symbol of photography, and as such want to be easily identified with it; in my case, I'd rather be the symbol, than hold it.

Dammykrane is not free. No court acquitted him, full charges coming soon – Tapjets

.
.
Few days ago, Davido announced that his associate, Dammykrane, beat his fraud case in the U.S and he is now a free man.
.
.
However, it may not yet be Uhuru for him, if a statement obtained from Tapjets, the company he allegedly defrauded, is anything to go by.
.
.
A statement obtained from Mr. Konstantin, Tapjets’ Head of flight safety and security, reads: “There is a 180-day delay in bringing full charges. Information from our attorney indicated that his accomplice, Chukwuebuka Ilochonwu, is giving police full cooperation.
.
.
This was why they asked for 180 days to bring big charges. So he is not free. Court record says “no action” it does not say “not guilty.”
JAY-Z Talks Kanye Beef: ‘He Crossed the Line By Bringing My Family Into It’

.
.
JAY-Z has opened up about his alleged feud with Kanye West. The rapper, 47, recently chatted with Rap Radar to discuss his song “Kill Jay Z.”
.
.
The single off his latest album, 4:44, in which he sent a few jabs Kanye’s way. “It’s not even about a Kanye diss. It’s not a diss, I’m talking to myself the whole time,” JAY-Z said.
.
.
In the single, the Tidal founder raps: “I know people backstab you, I feel bad too/ But this ‘f— everybody’ attitude ain’t natural/ But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe/ But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye/ You gave him 20 million without blinkin’/ He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f— was he thinkin’?/ ‘F— wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’/ But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.”
.
.
During his Rap Radar sit-down, JAY-Z continued, “I’m not talking about Kanye when I say, ‘You dropped out of school, you lost your principles,’ I’m talking about me!”
.
.
However, some of Kanye’s past comments did make the husband of Beyoncé upset. “You got hurt, because this guy was talking about you on a stage,” JAY-Z said referencing West’s infamous Sacramento concert rant last year.
.
.
“But what really hurt me, you can’t bring my kid or my wife into it. … We’ve gotten past bigger issues, but you brought my family into it, now it’s a problem with me.”
.
.
Adding, “You know it’s a problem because me and him would have been talked about it, been resolved our issues. And he knows he crossed the line. ‘Cause we’ve never let this much space go between one of our disagreements and we’ve had many. That’s part of who we are.”
.
.
At the November 2016 show, West called out Bey and Jay, referring to the now-infamous 2009 incident when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s Video Music Awards acceptance speech to say that Beyoncé deserved to win.
.
.
“I went down seven years on behalf of you. Beyoncé, I was hurt because I hear that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over ‘Hotline Bling,’” West said, alluding to her win over him and Drake at the VMAs in August 2016.
50-yr-old popular media personality, Sola Salako, finally marries
Madam Sola as she is fondly called is a regular guest on newspaper review every morning on Radio Continental, TVC and Channels Tv. Back in 2010 when she was 43, Sola said she never imagined she would be 43 and not married. She told Punch in the old interview: .
“I never thought that I would be unmarried at 43. It would happen when it would happen. I am not worried though, which is what worries a lot of people. I am not needy, so maybe that is a problem. I would like to get married, but I still haven’t met the right person, who likes me enough to want to marry me and vice versa.”
We’ll resume attacks if FG continues to ignore us – Niger Delta leader

Godspower Gbenekama, a chief in Gbaramatu kingdom, says that the people of the Niger Delta will resume attacks on oil facilities if they continue to feel that the government is ignoring them.
According to Reuters, Gbenekama said no one can be assured that nothing will happen in the Delta. Some youth from the region had allegedly carried out attacks on oil facilities to protest the continued silence of the FG about issues in the Niger Delta, which resulted in reduced oil production output.
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo had visited communities in the region, holding peace talks and town hall meetings to broker peace in the region. “The people of the Niger Delta can hold this government or any government to ransom because we are the people feeding the nation,” Gbenekama said.
“This peace is a graveyard peace. Nobody can assure anybody that nothing will happen in the Delta.” Annkio Briggs, a leading activist in Port Harcourt, described the peace talks as lies and deceit while Richard Akinaka, who represented the youth in Rivers state for a meeting with Osinbajo, said the government is treading a disastrous path.
“The government is treading on a path that is disastrous setting a precedent that they will only negotiate with the Delta when they start blowing stuff up,” he said He dismissed the meeting with one word – ‘bogus’.
However, a government spokesman said the government has not reneged on the agreement and the government will never do so. “The government has not reneged and will never renege on any agreement.
Call for resuming attacks when the government is diligent in actualising the terms of the agreements and requests made will not help matters,” he said.
The government official said it would take time for other agreements, such as the planned opening of a university and community ownership of small-scale refineries, to come to fruition.

Woman risks her life to have the World’s Biggest Hips

.
.
A 37-stone woman desperate to secure the record for having world’s biggest hips has been warned she is a “ticking time bomb” and could die at any moment – but she simply doesn’t care.
.
.
Married Bobbi-Jo Westley is now four inches off drawing level with the current record holder Mikel Ruffinelli – who has hips measuring 99 inches apart. But despite being told to shed weight ,the 42-year-old insists she “wants to be remembered for something”.
.
She said: “I understand that I’m putting myself at risk by trying to get the world’s biggest hips. I am worried about my health sometimes because of my size – I know that it is not healthy.
.
.
My doctor asked me if I had ever considered gastric bypass and I do have a fear of dying. But it’s just something that I have to do and I take it one day at a time. I want to be remembered for something, and I think having the world’s biggest hips is what I was meant to be remembered for.”
.
.
Her supersized hips have already earned her a supersized following, with legions of fans from around the globe buying and trading her pictures online. Bobbi, who lives in York, Pennsylvania with her husband, said: “My hips are what makes me unique. It’s what makes me ‘me’.
.
.
When I realised that there where men out there who like my shape, I was kind of surprised. I get all kinds of presents and messages from my fans, some of them ask ‘will you marry me?’ which is kind of hard because I’m already married. When I get people on social media who say I am fat, I really don’t react to it. Because I am fat.”
Hostages Released In Their Underwear After Being Abducted By Terrorists In Mali

.
.
Four people have been killed and another is thought to be missing after terrorists stormed a popular holiday resort in Mali. Dozens of people were taken hostage during the attack on Sunday night but were released on Monday after security services stormed the complex near the Malian capital of Bamako.
A Portuguese member of the EU’s military training mission was among the dead according to foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini. A Malian member of the EU’s delegation was also killed.
.
.
The resort was still cordoned off by late morning on Monday as a Malian anti-terrorist squad combed the area for the missing person. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
Nigerian govt to use N559 billion recovered loot to fund 2017 budget – Minister

The FG said on Monday it would use a fraction of the looted funds recovered so far to finance part of the 2017 budget. The Minister of Budget and National Planning, Udoma Udoma, said this at the 2017 budget breakdown in Abuja.
.
.
He said the total revenue projected was N5.08 trillion, with 11% (about N559 billion) coming from the recoveries made. “On recoveries, we are being extremely conservative; what is in the budget is what we know about already.
.
.
So, if more comes, we will use it. Know that recoveries of looted funds are not the most dependable way to finance the budget because of the legal processes that have to be concluded before it can be spent.
.
.
So, the money quoted in the budget is the one we have already recovered and in our pocket to spend as we wish,” he said
.
.
The N7.44 trillion budget, referred to as the ‘budget of recovery’, was signed into law by the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, on June 12, a month after it was passed by the National Assembly.
