The leadership of Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, Niger Delta Region has endorsed the Rivers State Disability Rights Campaign fixed for 1st July, 2016, this initiative is powered by RUGGED STEPS FOUNDATION; a leading disability NGO in Rivers State. The resolution was reached in an extraordinary Executive Meeting of JONAPD-Niger Delta Region, held today.

Also of importance to note is the endorsement of the Campaign by the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers. The decision of the Royal Fathers to support the initiative was reached during a courtesy call of the leadership of JONAPD, Niger Delta Region on the Royal Fathers today.
